Spezialisierung auf Mikrofotografie und Veröffentlichung von Büchern und Artikeln (u.a. im British Journal of Photograpy)
"By 1886, he specialised in photomicrography and at a dermatological congress, Pringle created a sensation by illustrating a rare bacillus. He wrote textbooks on the optical lantern, and on photomicrography, and contributed illustrations to Kleine’s Histology." [1]
